V Magazine is doing something kind of surprising. They are coming out with a "size issue" which features many gorgeous plus-size models. And by "plus size," I am not talking about size 6 or 8. We're talking curves for days. baby. I like that V Magazine chose to use the term "plus size" rather than "normal." Let's face it, "normal" girls are a size 0, 8 or 15. By industry standards, a "plus size" girl is anything larger than a size 2. V Magazine could have easily used standard size 6 models for this spread but they chose very voluptuous girls, I believe, to make a point. I feel that the middle ground-size 6 would have been overlooked. Kudos to V Magazine for finally doing something a little different!PS: These models are gorgeous, right?

They are beautiful! I hope this is a trend that other magazines decide to follow. Women should be celebrated for looking like, well, what else but women?
