Sex and the City Movie

So, I was one of those SATC crazies who saw the movie last night at midnight and let me tell you, it was well worth it.

The movie was brilliant. I was so nervous the movie would be bad and therefore, ruin the entire series for me but it definitely delivered.

The clothes are disgustingly beautiful. The story line is familiar but still surprising at points. You laugh, you cry, you root for your favorites.

Go out immediately and catch this colorful, emotional, witty and hilarious movie. Stat!

Update: A Sex and the City sequel is already in the works. It is the biggest debut by an R-rated film so far. Cha ching.

Principal Resigns Because of Gay Club

South Carolina high school principal, Eddie Walker, has resigned after a Gay-Straight Alliance Club was formed.

In the article Walker states that he feels "the formation of a Gay-Straight Alliance Club at Irmo High school implies that students joining the club will have chosen to or will choose to engage in sexual activity with members of the same sex, opposite sex, or members of both sexes." What a shame.

Is Imitation the Sincerest Form of Flattery?

Fake labels are everywhere. On the shoulder of the woman sitting next to you. On the tween passing you by. From fake Chanel to Gucci they seem to be taking over. An epidemic, if you will.

Many consumers reason, "why buy a real designer label if I can something nearly identical for less?" Sure, that seems awfully tempting. Paying $40 for your "Chanel" wallet compared to $1,400 may sound like a steal.

One of my reasons for not buying fakes is that you get what you pay for. For example, a Chanel handbag is meant to last a lifetime. From the stitching to the leather, it will last you until you are old and gray. Your $40 pleather bag will not.

Another reason is that these imitation companies are stealing the reputations of these companies. Chanel, Gucci, Versace and the like started small like every other company. They worked hard to build their reputation and empire and I want to respect that.

These days so many people don fake labels that if you are sporting the real deal, people assume it's fake.

So, pass on the Folex and opt for the real deal or not at all. Imitation is not the sincerest form of flattery.

Lindsay Lohan is a Big Lez!

Big shocker. Lindsay's a lesbian. Or at least has lesbian tendencies.

La Lohan has been spotted getting extra close with girlfriend/girl friend and DJ Samantha Ronson all over Hollywood, kissing and holding hands.

Could it be that the two are an item? Or are they just super-close?

La Lohan has also been spotted with a diamond band on her wedding-ring finger and is moving in with Ronson. Curious.

This is the best thing that has happened to her career in a long time. Lez it up, Lindsay!

Only in America!

A car dealership in Missouri is offering anybody who buys a car $250 in gasoline or a semi-automatic gun.

According to the dealership's owner, Walter Moore, the gun is the more popular choice. By a lot.

Thankfully, a background check is still required.

Is giving away a free gun a good idea? BRILLIANT.

Bush Claims Title for Lowest Approval Rating

It seems that Georgie may be the most disliked president in all of history. At least according to a new CNN poll.

The CNN poll said that 71 percent of the polled public disaproves of how Bush is doing his job.

A CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey released Thursday indicates that 71 percent of the American public disapprove of how Bush is handling his job as president.

"No president has ever had a higher disapproval rating in any CNN or Gallup Poll; in fact, this is the first time that any president's disapproval rating has cracked the 70 percent mark," said Keating Holland, CNN's polling director.
