Honestly, I just can't understand this. The Pope seems to believe

I agree with you completely, we have a huge problem with HIV here and trying to get the people to actually use condoms means going out giving them a pack and educating them on how to use them. The mass of people just are uneducated, poor and many have multiple sex partners. Working against the work already done here makes him a clear cut idiot.
Strange how he felt compelled to make such statements while I haven't seen one drop of monetary assistance from the Vatican to help fight HIV, while the US and Europe have aid agencies spending millions and millions each here fighting the war on HIV and are clearly visible.
Ok, I just read that the Pope believes the only way to prevent the spread of AIDS is to "place a Bible over the erect penis before intercourse". Wowwwww
