South Carolina high school principal, Eddie Walker, has resigned after a Gay-Straight Alliance Club was formed.In the article Walker states that he feels "the formation of a Gay-Straight Alliance Club at Irmo High school implies that students joining the club will have chosen to or will choose to engage in sexual activity with members of the same sex, opposite sex, or members of both sexes." What a shame.

This makes me sad - it's 2008! (I think) every college campus in America has similar groups and it's sooo important for young people struggling with their identity to have support from their peers! UGH this makes me so bothered.
