I Heart Brunch!

I've had brunch on my brain recently. Nothing is better than rolling out of bed, throwing on your sundress, flip-flops, and throwin' down some waffles and mimosas (and bellinis, my fave!) first thing at 11 in the morning.

Il Fornaio in the Reston Town Center is amazing. I have yet to try their brunch, but I hear excellent things. Check out their brunch menu here.

I've also been dying to get brunch at Georgia Brown's in DC for some down-home cookin' with a sophisticated twist. Their bruch menu is to die for.

To Do: Brunch this weekend.

Like A Fresh Battery.

In honor of No Doubt's return the stage (I die, I just die!) here's one of my favorite No Doubt songs - New. This is absolutely my favorite No Doubt to sing in the shower, kiddies. I'm so happy they're back!

Springtime.

Daylight savings was just the other day and you know
what that means? Spring is just around the corner. It's times
like these that I wish I lived in Paris so I could stroll through
their famous flower markets. Amazing, huh?

Britney's Wardrobe Malfunction!

Oh my heavens! During one of Brit Brit's recent concerts, she utters "My pus*y was hanging out!"

Did she seriously say that?! Check out the video above, right around 0:33, lovelies!

Faux Pas?

I love Bravo's The Real Housewives of New York/Orange County and Atlanta. They're wildly entertaining. I stumbled upon New York housewife, LuAnn DeLesseps' blog. LuAnne, a real life countess, claims to be a manners guru. Here are her list of Tech Etiquette:

• Putting your phone on the table when you arrive at a restaurant. All electronic devices belong out of sight.

• Making calls in elevators. Texting works best.

• Disruptive ringing. Your phone should be turned off in quiet places and meetings—switch to vibrate.

• Taking calls in the company of others is rude.

• Serial calls. Making long calls or one call after another on public transportation or in public places is inconsiderate. Some people think the world is their office.

• Talking too loudly or offensively. It is like secondhand smoke. You just can’t escape it.

• Holding a phone or text-messaging while driving. It is tempting, but taking your eyes off the road to dial, read, or send a message is just plain dangerous.

• Not being able to resist glancing at your e-mails at a meeting or restaurant. Few things are more irritating than speaking to someone who is obviously distracted.

• E-mails that never end. Keep your messages brief, especially since so many people are reading their messages on handheld devices.

I have to agree with most of LuAnn's etiquette rules, and have unfortunately broken some of these rules myself (especially texting while driving). Taking long calls in front of other people is so obnoxious, and is a huge pet peeve of mine. What do you think? Faux pas or not?

She Loves You.

Well, isn't that just cute.

15 Year Old Girl Beaten By Police.

Warning: The above video is disturbing. I am so disgusted that police officers like this exist.
